Cool Congregations Challenge 2013
People of faith across the country are doing their part to prevent global warming in their own homes and places of worship through the Cool Congregations program, and saving hundreds of dollars in the process. Cool Congregations is a stewardship program designed to help congregations engage their members in caring for Creation by reducing their carbon footprint.  2014 Preach-In
The Preach-In is an annual event that emphasized speaking about Creation stewardship from the pulpit and follow-up action. In the past, close to 1,000 congregations have participated and we anticipate that 2014 will be the biggest Preach-In yet. Find out more and register early by clicking here.

Carbon Covenant
Is your faith community looking for a meaningful way to reach out to developing nations?  Interfaith Power and Light’s Carbon Covenant program helps communities in the Global South work to reverse deforestation and build sustainable livelihoods. As of fall 2012, Carbon Covenant has raised close to $50,000 to help people who are working in local communities to address climate change in developing nations. Hundreds of individuals have pitched in, donating from $5 to $1,500, but organizations can have an even greater impact. Cool Harvest
Cool Harvest is a food, faith, and climate program for congregations  The program comes with a fall “harvest” guide for a hosting a cool potluck and a movie. Did you know that almost one-fifth of climate change pollution comes from the food industry? And as you will learn in this program, the foods that are healthier for the planet are also healthier for our bodies.
